The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, offers a challenging and inspiring career as a Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer in the pay scale for Assistant Commandant (Asst. Comdt.) at Rs.15600-39100 (Revised) with Grade Pay Rs. 5400 for categories and branches as mentioned below. The applications can be filled "online" for following:

(a) Special Recruitment Drive for SC/ST category candidates as:
(i) Asst. Comdt. - General Duty (Men)
(ii) Asst. Comdt. - General Duty (Pilot & Navigator) (Men and Women (unmarried))
(iii) Asst. Comdt. - Technical (Electrical/Electronics) (Men)

(b) All categories (Gen/OBC/SC/ST): -
(i) Asst. Comdt. - General Duty (Women) Short Service Appointment
(ii) Asst. Comdt. - Technical (Mechanical Engineers) (Men)

Pay Scale : Assistant Commandant - Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- Total emoluments on joining Rs. 45,000/- (approx) per month.
