RECRUITMENT IN ASSAM RIFLES

Assam Rifles recruitment rally will be held at Dimapur (Nagaland) and Guwahati (Assam) from 14 Jul 2011 onwards for enrolment of male candidates from states for the posts mentioned against each :

Posts :

1. Barber - 57
2. Cook - 21
3. Equipment and Boot Repair - 29
4. Painter - 26
5. Safaiwala - 57
6. Washerman - 51

Age Limit : Between 18 to 23 years as on 1st Aug 2011. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC/ST Candidates.
How to Apply : Candidates shall forward their applications as per the attached format to the address mentioned below along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) and self addressed registered envelope in favour of the Directorate General Assam Rifles payable at SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338 so as to reach this Directorate on or before 28 Jun 2011. SC and ST candidates are exempted from application fee. No cash/postal order will be accepted.
