RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR (STENOGRAPHER)

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up 22 vacancies to the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) Group ‘C’ on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITB Police Force.

Posts : ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR (STENOGRAPHER) - 22

Pay Scale : PB-I, Pay Scale: Rs.5200–20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2,800/- per month.

Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years (Cut off date for determining the age will be 25.07.2011)

Qualifications :
(a) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University orequivalent.
(b) i) Dictation- 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
ii) Transcription- 50 minutes (English) on computer; or 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer.
(c) Should have basic knowledge of computer application.

Fee : The candidates belonging to General and OBC category will be required to pay Rs 50/- (Non refundable) as application fee in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)/IPO/Bank Draft in favour of “ Inspector General (Special) Frontier, ITBP, West Block, Wing-2, Secotr-1, R.K. Puram, New Delhi- 110066 payable at S.B.I., R.K. Puram, New Delhi (Bank Code-1076). No fee will be charged from SC/ST and Female candidates. The candidates opting for CRFS should affix the CRFS at specified space in application form and get them cancelled as well.

How to Apply : Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respects and Candidate’s Admit Card duly filled in, in the prescribed proforma as per Annexure-‘I’ and Annexure-‘II’. Last date : Last date for receipt of applications is 25.07.2011 for all States except for Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, and Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 01.08.2011.
