Applications are invited from male Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility criteria for recruitment to the following posts in SSB :

Posts : Constable (Tradesmen) - 765

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000/-

Age Limit : 18-23 years,

Qualifications :
1. Matriculation or equivalent form a recognized Board or Institute. and
2. (i) Two years work experience in respective trade; OR
(ii) One year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the Trade ; OR
(iii) Two years Diploma from recognized Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.
3. Must qualify trade test .

Fee : Application fee will be Rs. 50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories in favour of The Commandant 25th Bn, SSB, Ghitorni. No fee will be charged from SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.

Eligible candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respect and Candidate’s Admit Card duly filled in, in the prescribed proforma as per Annexure ‘I’ and Annexure ‘II’, either type written or neatly hand written on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application form and on admit card (duly attested by Gazetted Officer) along with application fee and the enclosures to the authority mentioned above. The last date for receipt of application for all States is 15-06-2011 except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim , Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District or Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep, for which the last date is 22-06-2011.
